Modern Townhomes in Downtown Bakersfield.

At 17th Place Townhomes, We Value Community

17th Place is a pioneering 44-unit luxury townhome development that sits in the center of the hip new Eastchester neighborhood in Downtown Bakersfield. The townhomes are three stories in height, with a garage on the ground floor and two floors of living quarters above. The entire community was thoughtfully designed to improve day-to-day life for residents. Fostering a sense of hospitality, 17th Place is centered around a central green space with pedestrian walkway, furnished courtyard, dog park, fountain and fire pit. It’s a welcoming courtyard where neighbors can gather and get to know each other.

Residents spend time together at wine tasting nights, courtyard picnics and barbecues, holiday tree lightings, and many other regular community events.

With gated townhome living, residents enjoy all of Bakersfield’s downtown amenities without the headache.

THE EXCITEMENT AROUND EASTCHESTER

We are thrilled to see new businesses popping up in the surrounding area. These include a gourmet food shop, a wine bar, downtown’s first microbrewery, a bakery, a barbeque restaurant, an interior design firm, a film studio, an event space and an art gallery. We’ve loved getting to know our new neighbors — and we know you’ll love them too.

As the city continues to reinvent itself, life in Eastchester doesn’t just mean having access to all the amenities you could hope for. It also means being at the very heart of our city’s next chapter.

We feel like we’re all part of an exciting movement in Downtown Bakersfield.

TAKE A STROLL AROUND TOWN

WHAT OUR RESIDENTS ARE SAYING

When I came to Bakersfield to visit, I found 17th Place while driving around. I noticed the building — it’s the most similar to the unit I lived in when I was in Atlanta. I was looking for something really modern and downtown with community activities. Luckily, there was one unit open. I didn’t even look at it. I just rented it. I like to go to Smitten, sit outside, and read a book. I like to hike the bluffs, and I love to go to thrift stores. There’s a nice one right on 19th street. I love to browse and see what they have.
